Our house was no different than many homes; My mother telling me stories       about her family, my great grandmother, my grandmother, stories about their   neighbors and the Hungarian neighborhood she was raised in.  I never met my great grandmother, yet through the stories my mother shared over the years I grew to respect and admire the life she had lived, a life lived in another time and place.  I will enjoy passing the stories of past generations along to my children and I hope they will do the same with their families one day.
