$30.00 per hour, plus expenses such as photocopies, postage, microfilm, vital records, parking fees, those will be billed as charged by repository.
5 hour research minimum - a 50% deposit is required upon submission of research agreement. Balance will be invoiced and is payable before final report is mailed.
Research times includes:
Analysis of your genealogical goals
Examination of pertinent records
Writing of reports; (including pedigree charts, family group sheets, Computer data entry).
Look-ups:
Instead of hourly research, you may request look-ups in specific records, i.e. census records, obituaries, marriage records, etc.
Flat fee of $25.00 per look-up.
Actual cost of copies as charged by repository.
Basic genealogy look-ups are a flat fee and I ask for payment of fees upfront.
Upon completion of the research, you will receive a fully documented report of all sources consulted, as well as copies of any pertinent documents found during the course of my search.
I will work within the number of hours you authorize and will notify you if further time is advisable to reach your research objectives. I will not engage in or charge for additional research without your authorization.
